handS OF DOOM PART... pinlines

after a week of trying different paint applications i think i found the one i like. to get these lines perfectly curved and spaced apart is no easy task. now i will wait and see how well the pinlines show up after the lamination. it might not be as vibrant but will still add a little pop to the shape. i might start the lay-up this weekend if i can fit it in between a baby shower and a bike ride with the family. the hangnail is on!

got to work on the board a little today. i very pleased with the fabric inlay. it came out clean and the color didn't bleed with the epoxy. so it's off to lamination in the next couple of days.

head injury update

i think i just might wear a helmet for the next couple of weeks. don't these things come in threes? i wish in both cases it would have happened to me instead. i think it is more painful to see your family hurt than it is to be hurt myself.
