PARTING SHOTS

mark h. came over to check out my board and asked if i had taken any photos of my board. he was right on, the light was good and he thinks the board looks good as well. only a month until the hangnail gets some warm water splashed on it! viva el salvador

it been a while

jig, router, and some spray adhesive= good times. i spent most of the afternoon trying to figure out the quad fin cluster. reading, looking, reading, looking some more. up the stairs, down the stairs. i think i found a happy medium from all the crap(info) that i have been taking in the last couple of days. time will tell........if i made the right choices.

handS OF DOOM PART... pinlines

after a week of trying different paint applications i think i found the one i like. to get these lines perfectly curved and spaced apart is no easy task. now i will wait and see how well the pinlines show up after the lamination. it might not be as vibrant but will still add a little pop to the shape. i might start the lay-up this weekend if i can fit it in between a baby shower and a bike ride with the family. the hangnail is on!

HAndS OF DOOM PART... I-FREAK-A

got to work on the board a little today. i very pleased with the fabric inlay. it came out clean and the color didn't bleed with the epoxy. so it's off to lamination in the next couple of days.

HANdS OF DOOM PART...

the hang nail is coming along nicely. i have a good feeling about this board. could it be magic?

haNDS OF DOOM PART...here we go again

started another board the other day and i'm digging the shape. i have decided to name this the hangnail. it's a 6'2"X20 1/2"X2 5/8" quad. at least that is the plan.
